This stuffs really important and often times makes the difference between a disaster and a mutually suitable outcome in the event something happens.
Payment terms: 50% due at time of booking, fully refundable up to 60 days prior to the event. Full balance, non-refundable due 60 days prior to the event.
If booking within 60 days, full booking is due, fully refundable within 7 days.
If an RV is included a $500 deposit is required.
If we are outside the 60 non-refundable period we will give you up to 7 days to get your party together and hopefully book other sites together! If you're ready to book straight away feel free to tell us so, otherwise we'll reach out to confirm a few things and then ask for payment. Billing will be Gorge RV Rentals.
The reservation is transferable with approval. If your within the 60 day non-refundable window (or participating in Guaranteed Rebook offer) you can phone a friend transfer the reservation. As long as the party is at or below the capacity we will likely approve it! Or if we can re-book the property we will refund the entire amount less 3% (credit card fee charged to us). If we can't book it we may offer a discount, we will refund whatever we can collect, less the 3%.
Why so strict? Accommodations for shows and events at the Gorge get booked many months ahead of time. Late cancellations can often go un-booked because guests have already made plans as attending shows at the Gorge requires much more pre-planning than most. Our RVs are owned by regular families that depend on the income from the rentals, as a business we owe it to them to ensure income. If you're not ready to book please wait. Or if you are looking to book just to save a spot only to then look again for something better in a few months...please don't.
RV Rental Deposit: Most RVs will require a $500 deposit 24 hours prior to arrival and be returned typically within 48 hours. We will authorize the return (or not) within 24 hours and then the bank typically takes 24...maybe 48 hours to complete the return.
RV Awnings: Under no circumstances are guests allowed to use RV awnings. We know it's not optimal but very expensive and fragile awnings and common windy conditions never go well....it's just not worth it. Bring a pop up!
Credit Card Fees on refunds: All refunds are subject to the banks 3% they charge us. We don't earn income off your cancellations we are simply passing along the fee charged to us. This applies to ANY refund other than security deposits.
Guaranteed rebook opportunity: For a 50% non-refundable fee you are guaranteed the opportunity to rebook your same accommodations for the next years show/event. Your deposit also allows you access to all the other available sites during the off season. Most of our sites open with or shortly after show announcements. With a deposit you can book your friends/family anytime. We are a group friendly campground, this encourages people to enjoy more time 'together'! All the same refund policies apply, if we can rebook we'll give you your money back. We probably can...earlier notice the better. Does not apply to the home "Farmhouse."
Rebook Costs: 50% of the booking fee. This would be in ADDITION to the regular, refundable deposit for your booking. In essence, you are simply converting to a 50% non-refundable deposit for the benefits mentioned above. This books your current year show and guarantees the following booking. Price guaranteed for rebooks. Any price increases will be negotiated prior to your rebooking.
Show Lovers Early Buy-in opportunity: Do you love a particular show and never want to miss one at the Gorge? Camp Silica is a very unique camping opportunity, especially if you a.) like Eastern Washington and b.) like toys. We are doing a soft opening of just 6 sites which will likely become very popular. With the rebook opportunity you would have a guaranteed spot year over year! What's in it for us? Your non-refundable deposit goes straight for amenities for the campground! We are a new venture, we are a regular family with kids and don't have a huge budget for improvements our first year out!
Show Cancellations: If your show is cancelled the following year you are welcome to transfer it to any available show/weekend anytime throughout the year. Or, we will refund your rebook fee entirely. Rebooks apply to particular show/performers, no specific dates. Specific dates, regardless of events can be rebooked.
Payee must match guest. You cannot 'sublet' our sites. The payee on the card or payment account must match at least one of the guests on site.
All guests must register. All guests with vehicles must provide contact information. If something happens we need to be able to get a hold of you! Don't worry we're not big brother selling your info on the black web, our government is doing just fine at that! We're just property owners that want to be able to contact the people staying with us.
