Welcome to our home away from home!

Welcome to Camp Silica. This is our home away from home, our little oasis that we would like to share it with you! Our little farm house and property are quirky, a little rough around the edges but always fun and relaxing.

I have been enjoying this area since the late 70s, working as a local farmhand as teenager and later attending CWU. I landed with the Seattle Fire Dept and am nearing the end of a long career with the last 13 as a paramedic. I've always enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Sunland over the years but ast year was luck enough to acquired this little 2.5 acre parcel from a pal of mine. I instantly fell in love with vastness of the views but more so the quiet tranquility. Turns out literally having no neighbors is pretty awesome! Couple monster shops and cozy little mobile home helps too! The property is small enough that I would love to create a place where people rebook and know they always have a repeatable place to stay with their friends and family.
